Pat Kimbel

Patricia Ann Kimbel was born on May 11, 1938, in Marion, Kentucky the daughter of the late Jerome Minnet and Madge Stinett Chavis. On August 8, 1950, she was united in marriage to Jesse Robert Kimbel, who survives.

"Miss" Pat lived in Garden City, Michigan before moving to Hardin County, Tennessee in 2000. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who loved to cook and sew. Her favorite thing most of all, was her dog, Prissy.

"Miss Pat" departed this life on August 23, 2014, at her home in Saltillo, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 3 months and 12 days.

In addition to her husband of sixty-four years, Robert, she is survived by four children, Robert Kimbel of Coldwater, Michigan, Sandra Burd of Saltillo, Tennessee, Shelia Jones of Linden, Tennessee and Tammy Sawvell of Indiana; fourteen grandchildren, Noah Sawvell, Robert Jones, Steven Jones, Cody Kimbel, Collette Kimbel, Scotty Burd, Danny Burd, Keith Burd, Josh Burd, Joey Burd, Briana Burd, Alexis Burd, Katrice Burd and Martin Burd; ten great-grandchildren, Katie Burd, Anthony Burd, Jamie Burd, Julia Burd, Korbin Burd, Khloe Burd, Cameron Burd, Tommy Burd, Holly Jones and Matthew Jones; two brothers, Danny Chavis of Alabama and Gary Chavis of Michigan; and one great-great-grandchild.
