PATRICIA THOMAS BURKHEAD
Henderson, TN: Patricia Ann Thomas Burkhead age 71 passed away May 6, 2014 at the Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born September 11, 1942 in Chester County the daughter of the late Warren and Lucrissia Moore Thomas. She attended schools in Chester County and was married to L.W. “Dub” Burkhead on August 11, 1959. They made their home in Henderson. She worked as a hairdresser for many years. Mrs. Burkhead was a wonderful mother and a member of the Cave Springs Baptist Church.
Mrs. Burkhead is survived by, her husband, L.W. “Dub” Burkhead of Henderson; three sons, Jeff Burkhead and wife Debbie of Memphis, Tommy Burkhead and wife Carman of Henderson and Randy Burkhead of Henderson; five grandchildren, Justin Burkhead, Brittney Denbow, Cherith Farris, Matthew Burkhead and Channa Burkhead; six great grandchildren, Newman Denbow, Garrett Denbow, Gray Burkhead, John Warren Burkhead, Ella Kate Farris and Knox Farris and two brothers, Larry Thomas of Henderson and Danny Thomas and wife Karen of Henderson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday May 8, 2014 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel with Justin Burkhead and Clint Burkhead officiating and burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Chapel 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday.
