Patricia Marlene Byrd of Memphis, TN was born November 8, 1937 in Chewalla, TN the daughter of the late Carl J. D. Martindale and Jewell H. Kelley Martindale. Mrs. Byrd departed this life on May 29, 2015 in Memphis at the age of 77 Years, 6 Months, 21 Days.

She was united in marriage to Jim William Byrd. He preceded her in death on March 1, 1983.

Mrs. Byrd was retired from McDowell Industries in Memphis. She enjoyed playing cards with her grandkids, working crossword puzzles, and watching basketball on TV, especially the Memphis Tigers. She was a Baptist.

She is survived by a son, Ronnie Byrd and wife Pam of Memphis, TN; three grandchildren, James Medawar, Amanda Byrd, Ashley Byrd; a grt-grandchild, Raegan Medawar; a sister, Faye Austin of Ramer, TN; a brother, Ray Martindale of Corinth, MS and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Byrd was preceded in death by a sister, Kathlene Clark; two brothers, Jamie Martindale and Ardie Martindale.
