PAUL A. CHRISTENSON, JR.


Was born in Hobe Sound, Florida on June 14, 1931 the son of the late Paul Alfred Christenson, Sr. and Ruby Inez Johnson Christenson.

On July 9, 1980 he was united in marriage to Jacqueline Hall, who survives.

Mr. Christenson served his country for 23 years in the United States Air Force, where he served in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Lake City, Florida and Masonic Lodge #137 in Branford, Florida. Mr. Christenson was a former resident of Pinellas Park, Florida and Branford, Florida. He was a master of woodworking, avid reader, loved animals and enjoyed being with his dogs. Mr. Christenson enjoyed going to the river, ocean sailing, traveling and loved anything to do with nature.
Mr. Christenson loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren and he was a jokester.

He departed this life on May 12, 2014 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 28 days.

In addition to his wife, Jacqueline of Branford, Florida, he is survived by his children, David Allan Christenson and his wife Nancy of Adamsville, Tennessee, Regina Miles and her husband Robert of Tampa, Florida, Noriko Christenson of St. Petersburg, Florida, James K. Christenson and his wife Julie of Australia, Bill Kaiser and his wife Debby of Illinois, Barbara K. Doty of Branford, Florida, Bonnie Jo Fleury and her husband Jake of Melbourne, Florida and Karen Adams and her husband Derek of Clinton, Mississippi

15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren

6 nieces and nephews

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Wind, Nancy Christenson and Lily Seroki.
