Peggy Stricklin Greeson

Peggy Stricklin Greeson of Hermitage, TN was born May 4, 1926 in Clifton, TN the daughter of the late Iley Amos Stricklin and Flora Ethel Brewer Stricklin. Mrs. Greeson died Friday, February 27, 2015 at Summitt Medical Center in Hermitage, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 9 Months, 23 Days. She was married to Billie Carroll Greeson April 1, 1945 and he preceded her in death March 25, 1992. Mrs. Greeson, a member of Hermitage United Methodist Church, was retired from Service Merchandise and Goody's.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Carroll Greeson and wife Debbie of Mount Juliet, TN and Jerry Randall Greeson and wife Cindy of Hermitage, TN, three grandchildren, Benjamin Greeson and wife Jodi, Andrew Greeson and wife Jennifer, Etta Goodwin and husband Chris, and four great grandchildren, Zachary, Cora, Kyleigh, and Quinn, and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs Greeson was preceded in death by two brothers, Iley Russell Stricklin and Wiley A. (Ted) Stricklin, two sisters, Mabel Brewer Rothonell Gobbell.

Services will be held Monday, March 2, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Marvin Champion officiating. Burial will follow in the Waynesboro Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
