Beech Bluff, TN: Phillip Allan Ross, age 52, died Tuesday afternoon, November 5, 2013 at Jackson General Hospital.
Phil was born and reared in the Mifflin Community of Chester County the son of Patsy Kay Young Ross and the late Billy Barry ‘Bill’ Ross. He attended Chester County schools. He worked in production at American Olean Tile in Jackson for 26 years. He loved to hunt and fish and travel with the Faithmen Quartet. He was a member of Mifflin Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter Jessica Allen and husband James of Beech Bluff and two grandsons Rylan and Gunner Allen, his mother Patsy Young Ross of Beech Bluff, sister Heather Ross of Beech Bluff and three brothers; Barry Ross of Humboldt, Tracy Ross of Beech Bluff and Bart Ross of Beech Bluff.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, November 7th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Sells officiating and burial will follow at Mifflin Cemetery.
The family will received friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 5:00 PM Wednesday.
