Randy R. Allen

Mr. Randy R. Allen, age 62 of Saulsbury, Tennessee, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, May 28, 2014 at his home in Candlewood Lakes.

Mr. Allen was born in Indianapolis, Indiana June 26, 1951 to Dorothy Miller, who survives, and the late John Allen. On December 20, 1971, he was united in marriage to Linda Allen, who also survives. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University in 1973 and began working for FedEx in 1979. He lived in Bartlett for several years before moving to Hardeman County in 1997. He was a member of New Life Fellowship in Saulsbury.

In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include two sons, Bart Allen and wife Gina of Saulsbury, and David Allen and wife Jacinda of Saulsbury; grandchildren, Hope Shirley, Becca Allen, Hollie Allen, Konner Allen and Zane Holland; great-grandchild, Alden Shirley; and his dog, "Scoobie".

He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Sharon Allen; and stepfather, Earl Miller.
