RETTA MANESS
Henderson: Retta Faye Maness, age 54, died Friday evening, November 15, 2013 at her home south of Henderson.

Retta was born in Lawton, OK, the daughter or William L. “Bill” and Mary Swallow Maness. She moved to the Old Friendship Road Community of Chester County at the age of seven. She graduated from Chester County High School in 1977. She had worked at Chester Manufacturing, Henderson McDonalds as manager, Bruce Hardwood floors in Jackson, B & T Packaging, and for the last eight years as an accountant manager at Cambridge Marketing in Selmer.

She was a member of the Estes Church of Christ. She was a University of Tennessee and a Dallas Cowboy football and liked to watch NASCAR racing.

She is survived by a daughter LeAnn Maness, two grandsons; Tylon and Luke Maness, her parents William L. “Bill” and Mary Swallow Maness, a special friend and companion Ernest Burton, sister Donna Lussier and brother Billy Ray Maness all of Henderson.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Allen Walker and Jesse Robertson officiating and burial will follow at Cave Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 5:00 PM Sunday.
