Rita Sue Ritter

RITA SUE RITTER

was born in Lawrence County, Tennessee on June 2, 1940 the daughter of the late Grady and Inez Falls Lewis.

On January 25, 1961 she was united in marriage to Jimmy Stenson Ritter, who preceded his wife in death on November 14, 2011.

Rita worked for Brown Shoe Company, Walmart, and Garan Incorporated. She also did the article in the Savannah Courier for the Morris Chapel Community. Rita attended Morris Chapel Baptist Church and was Eastern Star,a member of the Adamsville Chapter. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading and watching her favorite basketball team, The Memphis Grizzles.

Rita departed this life on November 17, 2017 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 77 years, 5 months and 15 days.

She is survived by her son, Lynn Ritter and his wife Darla of Adamsville, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Chris Ritter, Nick Ritter and Kela Russell; two great grandchildren, Blake Ritter and Brilee Ritter and one brother, Tommy Lewis and his wife Connie of Savannah, Tennessee.
