Robbie Mae Matlock Selph was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on January 17, 1933, the daughter of the late Vernon Duncan and Mary Ferrell Davis. On December 16, 1950, she was united in marriage to R.C. Matlock, Jr., who preceded her in death on April 23, 1965. She later married Robert Fleetwood Selph on January 7, 1971. Robert preceded her in death on November 12, 2007. Robbie departed this life on January 9, 2018, at the age of 84 years, 11 months, and 23 days.
Robbie attended Living Waters Foursquare Church, and was a member of Woodmen of the World. She worked at Brown Shoe Company for approximately 20 years and Owens-Corning Fiberglass for approximately 18 years. Flower gardening, cooking, and working were some of her favorite things to do.
Robbie is survived by her son, Danny Matlock and wife Becky of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Willie McGarity of Morris Chapel, Tennessee and Frankie Pipes of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Chris Matlock and Autumn Conner; great grandchildren, Timothy Matlock, Kaylee Matlock, Arianna Conner, and Camry Conner; and a step great grandchild, Spencer Howse.
Robbie was preceded in death by her brothers, James Davis and Billy Davis.
