Ronnie (Ron-I) Hammock

Ronnie Hammock departed this life on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at the age of 64 years, 11 months, 2 days.

He was born in Counce, Tennessee on July 22, 1949, the son of the late Bud Hammock and Martha Tucker Hutcheson. Ronnie (Ron-I) was a veteran of the US Army. He lived in Hardin County and drove a truck for most of his life. He enjoyed fishing, his grandchildren, and visiting with friends and family. Ronnie was a strong man that raised three daughters on his own and there was nothing he wouldn't do for them, they were his life.

Ronnie is survived by his beloved daughters, Rachel Hammock of Trion, Georgia, Marie Thompson of LaFayette, Georgia, and Diann Hammock of Counce, Tennessee; grandchildren, Dewight Hicks, Josh Hicks, McKayla Hicks, Taylor Barfield, and Steven Thompson; brothers, Donnie Hammock of Lafayette, Georgia and James Hammock of Counce, Tennessee; sisters, Brenda Shelby of Counce, Tennessee, Nina Felker of Savannah, Tennessee, Carolyn Powell of Odenville, Alabama, Glenda Jackson of Counce, Tennessee, and Betty Vincent of LaFayette, Georgia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Hammock.
