RUBY TURNBOW SOLLIS
was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on April 2, 1923 the daughter of the late Hugh and Ada Depriest Turnbow.
On November 16, 1940 she was united in marriage to Cleatus E. Sollis, who preceded his wife in death on May 26, 2002.
Mrs. Sollis was a homemaker and baby-sitter and she also helped her husband farm. Mrs. Sollis was a member of Hinkle Baptist Church. She loved her family, gardening, grandchildren and great grandchildren, going to church, Walmart, McDonalds and Reelfoot Lake. Mrs. Sollis never met a stranger, she was always cheerful and very strong will.
She departed this life on July 4, 2013 in Sardis, Tennessee at the age of 90 years, 3 months and 2 days
Mrs. Sollis is survived by her children, Susan Smith and her husband Jerry of Saltillo, Tennessee and Ronnie Sollis and his wife Judy of Adamsville, Tennessee.

two brothers, Leland Turnbow of Sardis, Tennessee and Homer Turnbow of Savannah, Tennessee
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Terry E. Sollis, three sisters, Nellie Barber, Lillian McGlaughlin and Altie Cohen and four brothers, Harl, Richard, Roscoe and Clyde Turnbow.
