SALLY TAYLOR WOLFE
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 16, 1926 the daughter of the late Dan and Ida Austin Taylor.
Ms. Wolfe departed this life on May 2, 2014 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 16 days.
She is survived by her children, Sally Jane Franks of Marietta, Georgia, Kathy Doyle and her husband Ricky of Savannah, Tennessee and Doug Wolfe and his wife Tammie of Adamsville, Tennessee
five grandchildren, Jennifer Snyder, Amanda McAdams, Kaitlin Snyder, Candra Hubbard and Bailey Wolfe
two great grandchildren, Rylee McAdams and Carter McAdams
one brother, Jack Taylor of Phoenix, Arizona
In addition to being a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker she was blessed with great skills at cooking and sewing. Outside the home she worked at Owens Corning Fiberglas in Jackson, Tennessee and Continental Barge Lines where she retired as a cook. After retirement she utilized her God given gifts of care taking to nurture and comfort others including her sister and three brothers in their last days. Although her instinct was that of a giver her most lasting event in life was one of acceptance when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and followed Him in believer's baptism in 1964.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Joe Franks, one sister, Mazie Stockton and four brothers, Lacy, Holden, Fred and Dan Ellis Taylor
