Shelia Kay Phillips Turnbow departed this life on Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at the age of 60 years, 8 months, 2 days.
She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 23, 1953, the daughter of the late Gene and Earlene Shepard Phillips. On June 10, 1972, she was united in marriage to Sammy K. Turnbow, who survives. Shelia was a lifelong Hardin Countian and attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She enjoyed working puzzles, playing with her grandchildren, and making candy at Christmas to give away.
In addition to her husband, Sammy Turnbow of Crump, Tennessee, she is survived by a daughter, Tracie Quinn and husband Will of Parsons, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tyler Turnbow, Anna Quinn, and Ella Quinn; sisters, Dianah Holcombe of Waterloo, Alabama, Carolyn White of Savannah, Tennessee, Teresa Baker of Pocahontas, Arkansas, and Barbara Cameron of La Vergne, Tennessee.
