Sherry Rachelle Moody Orr

Sherry Rachelle Moody Orr lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at the age of 44 years, 5 months, 7 days. She was born in Clarksville, Tennessee on February 8, 1971, the daughter of Willie Sr. and Shirley Talley Moody. On June 6, 1992, she was united in marriage to Andre Dennis Orr, who survives.

Sherry was born and raised in Dickson, Tennessee, but spent the last 17 years in Hardin County, Tennessee and worked for the Board of Education in Hardin County for 7 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and loved to read, write poems, and working with children.

In addition to her parents, Willie Sr. and Shirley Moody of Dickson, Tennessee, she is survived by, her husband, Andre Dennis Orr of Savannah, Tennessee; children, Anisa Orr of Nashville, Tennessee, Sakena Orr, Alexa Orr, and Andre Orr, Jr. all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandson, Javaughn Majors; and brother, Willie Moody, Jr. of Dickson, Tennessee.

Sherry was preceded in death by a sister, Carlotta Renea Moody.
