Shirley Ann McNatt

Shirley Ann McCullom McNatt of Waynesboro, TN was born August 24, 1938 in Mt. Pleasant, TN, the daughter of the late Johnnie E. and Annie Lee Calvert McCullom. She was united in marriage to Claude Doyle McNatt, the former band director at Wayne County High School, on May 26, 1956 and he preceded her in death on May 20, 1994.

Mrs. McNatt was a cosmetologist for 52 years and was a baton instructor for over 45 years. She was a member of the Waynesboro Church of Christ in Waynesboro, Tennessee.

Mrs. McNatt departed this life on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 21 Days.

She is survived by sons, Stan McNatt and wife, Delores of Smyrna, TN, Tim McNatt and wife, Tammy of Murfreesboro, TN; Grandchildren, Chad McNatt of Madison, TN, Ashleigh McNatt of Murfreesboro, TN and Josh and Jill McNatt both of Smyrna, TN; great-grandsons, Colin, Evan, Bryson and Jake McNatt; great-granddaughter, Paige McNatt; sisters, Lucy Church and husband, Jerry of Columbia, TN, Carolyn Nance and husband, Joe of Mt. Pleasant, TN; four nephews; one niece; three great-nieces; one great-nephew.

Services will be Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Gregg Lee and Mitchell L. Skelton officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Kenny Smith, Trent Ward, Vernon Lay, Allen Barnett, Alvin Creecy and Royce Pulley. Joe Butler and A. C. Walker will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home.
