STAN BELL

Henderson, TN: Stanley Farris Bell age 59 passed away April 3, 2015 at his home.

He was born December 1, 1955 in Henderson and also reared in Henderson, the son of Geneva Mae Tucker Bell and the late Joseph LaFayette (Joe) Bell. He attended Chester County Schools and graduated Chester County High School in 1973. He entered the U.S. Navy in 1974 and after being discharged he came back to Henderson in 1978. He worked with J.C. Emerson Construction. He was Methodist in belief.

Stan loved to do Civil War Reenactments and hunt for Civil War relics with a metal detector.

Stan is survived by his mother, Geneva Mae Tucker Bell of Henderson; a son, Dusty Bell of Henderson; a grandson, River Bell; a sister, Karen Thomas and husband Danny of Henderson and two brothers, Danny Joe Bell and wife Glenda of Henderson and Phil Bell of Henderson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Bell in August 2006.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Ken Frye and Roger Penn officiating and burial will follow in Henderson City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday.
