Steven Lynn Whirley was born September 15, 1961 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late James A. Whirley and Anita Sue Tull Whirley. He departed this life on May 19, 2015 in Selmer, TN at the age of 53 Years, 8 Months, 4 Days.
Steven was a 1979 Graduate of McNairy Central High School. He attended Fourth Street Church of Christ in Selmer. He was a Pipefitter. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and bull riding.
He is survived by a Goddaughter Selina Bremer; a sister, Pam Whirley of Bethel Springs, TN; two brothers, Jay Whirley of Selmer, TN, John Whirley and wife Tammy of Bethel Springs, TN; special friend, Kathy Bremer; special family, Eric Whirley, Jacey Whirley, Jillian Whirley, Jamisyn Whirley and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Whirley was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Keith Whirley.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
