Teddy Leon Holland, age 74 of Reagan, TN departed this life on June 22, 2017 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 4 Days.
He was born June 18, 1943 in Hardin County, TN the son of the late William Homer and Ruby May Smith Holland. He attended school in Sardis and Saltillo. He was married to Janice L. Johnson on June 19, 1962. They made their home near Jacks Creek, TN. He was employed by Bailey Brothers Trucking and later by Leroy Somers in Lexington. He retired in 2005. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church at Jacks Creek.
He is survived by his wife Janice Holland of Jacks Creek; 5 daughters Lisa Odom of Lexington, TN, Tammy Hopper and husband Larry of Star City, AR, Greta Morton and husband Wally of Jacks Creek, Michelle Evans and husband John of Jacks Creek, Danyale Dyer and husband Ricky Joe of Lexington, TN; a son Scottie Holland of Jacks Creek; a sister Betty Austin of Milledgeville, TN; 2 brothers Robert Holland of Selmer, TN, Joe Neal Holland of Adamsville, TN; 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Danny Holland and a granddaughter Mahayla Evans.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Sunday, June 25 at the Community of Christ Church in Jacks Creek with Dwight Jones and Dale Gallimore officiating. Burial will follow in Bailey Cemetery in Jacks Creek.
The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, June 23 beginning at 5:00 P.M. and continue until 11:00 A.M. service time on Sunday.
