Tracy Smith

October 15, 1924 — July 19, 2013

Tracy Smith was born October 15, 1924 in McNairy County, TN, the son of the late Frank and Monnie Gilliam Smith.

Mr. Smith was a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church. He served in the Navy during WWII. He has worked as a security guard for Milan Arsenal Ammunition Plant and CECO Door Products. In recent years, Mr. Smith owned and operated his TV repair service.

Mr. Smith departed this life on July 19, 2013 in Milan, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 9 Months, 4 Days.

He is survived by a daughter, Linda Smith of Milan, TN; two sons, Jim Hall of Cape Giradeau, MO, Ken Smith and wife Layne of Marietta, GA; three grandchildren, Suzanne Welch and husband Mike, Tim Hall, Judson Hall and wife Angela; seven great grandchildren, Carolyn Smith, Kristen Hall, Hayley Hall, Landon Hall, James Welch, Arden Hall and Madison Hall; a sister, Dorothy Moore of Gilchrist, TN; a brother, David Smith and wife Regenia of Gilchrist, TN.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife Vada Ellen Hamm Smith on September 26, 2009, and a brother, James Ray Smith.
