Virginia (Ginny) Sneed Canipe
A much loved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt, Virginia (Ginny) Sneed Canipe, 75, of Counce Tennessee passed away peacefully May 19th at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Corinth Mississippi surrounded by family. She was born in Pontotoc, Mississippi on July 13, 1939 to the late Clive Brooks and Lella Graham Sneed.
She worked in the printing industry throughout her life owning her own hand bindery company and retiring from Mercury Printing Company of Memphis Tennessee. She was an avid fisherwoman and naturalist who really enjoyed the wildlife and natural things around her.
Ginny is survived by her husband of 19 years, Warren Canipe; two children daughter Marsha Ditz of Memphis Tennessee and son Mike White of Olive Branch Mississippi; three grandsons Corey McKnatt Jr., Collin Varner, and Andrew White; four granddaughters Dana White, Shelley Bowcock, Jennifer Frazier, and Melissa Ditz; six great grandchildren Aryn, Carson, and Miles McKnatt, Paige and Mackenzie Frazier, and Ayden White.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, May 23rd, 2015, at Pickwick United Methodist Church located at 10575 Hwy. 57, Counce, Tennessee, 38326.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the COPD Foundation (www.copdfoundation.org) and the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org/donate).
