Wayne Moody

Mr. L. Wayne Moody, age 83 passed from this life on December 14, 2013 at his home at Jacks Creek.
He was born in Henderson County, son of the late Lige and Lela Moore Moody. He attended school in Henderson County and helped his mother raise the younger children. As a young man he farmed and worked in the carpenter business and later in the yard cutting and landscaping business.
Mr. Moody is survived by one daughter, Patsy Williams of Henderson, three sons, Jerry Moody of Lexington , Harold Moody of Finger and Alan Willis of Henderson, one sister Laverne Smith of Milan, also six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents Mr. Moody was preceded in death by a sister Gertie Moody, six brothers
Charles Moody, Raymond (Shorty) Moody, Paul Moody, Connie Moody, DeWayne Moody, and Lynn Moody.
