Wendie Pickens Infield was born on December 17, 1976, the daughter of the late William Pickens and Elizabeth White Pickens, who survives.
On March 21, 2014, she was united in marriage to Craig Infield, who also survives.
Wendie was a self-employed housekeeper and caregiver. She had also worked at Piggly Wiggly, and as a baker, and a truck driver. She was a member of the White's Creek Freewill Baptist Church who enjoyed crocheting and star gazing. She loved her children very much.
Wendie departed this life on January 13, 2015 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 38 years and 27 days.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three children: Lillie Pickens; Colton Christopher; and Lannie Rain Infield, all of Savannah, Tennessee.
One brother, Steve Pickens and his wife Barbara of Savannah, Tennessee, and her grandmother Ezelle White of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, B.B. and Lennie Pickens, and Luther White.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to Hunting for a Cure at P. O. Box 444 Savannah, Tennessee 38372.
