Whitney Armenda Stanfield was born in Madison County, Tennessee on May 11, 1988, the daughter of Gary Allen Stanfield and Tamela (Tammy) Suzette Kerr Johnson. After attending high school, Whiney eventually began working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee, a position she held for seven years until her death on Thursday, December 28, 2017.
Working as a CNA was a perfect vocation for Whitney; she was a very loving person who could always say the right thing to cheer someone up. She enjoyed making a deal, whether at an auction or swapping on Facebook, and she was always cutting up with everyone. Singing was a favorite pastime but her greatest love was reserved for her children and her church, Mount Hermon Baptist.
Whitney was 29 years old when her life ended tragically. She leaves to mourn her passing her three children, Chloe Heard, Raylan Wilkerson, and Noah Wilkerson, and her step-son Mason Wilkerson, all of Savannah, Tennessee; her parents, Gary Stanfield of Adamsville, Tennessee and Tammy Johnson of Langston, Alabama; her brother, Wess Allen Stanfield of Nashville, Tennessee; her fiancé, Michael Wilkerson of Savannah, Tennessee, and her bestie, Christina Scott, also of Savannah, Tennessee. She also leaves her grandparents, Wilma Drace of Adamsville, Tennessee and Billy and Jane Kerr of Savannah, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James T. Stanfield.
