Willia (Kay) McKay Hornbuckle

Willia McKay (Kay) Hornbuckle was born March 11, 1943 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Guy Phillip and Minola Pearl Dickey Smith.

She was united in marriage to Maynard Hornbuckle on July 19, 1962. Mr. Hornbuckle preceded her in death on November 9, 2011.

Mrs. Hornbuckle was a homemaker, enjoyed the outdoors, working in her vegetable garden and flowers. She was a member of the Stantonville Methodist Church in Stantonville, Tennessee.

Mrs. Hornbuckle departed this life on January 3, 2014 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 9 Months, 23 Days. She is survived by three sisters, Shirley Hornbuckle and husband Manford of Stantonville, TN, Bonnie Freeman, Ruby Jameson and husband Gene of Chattanooga, TN; niece, Donna Stovall of Stantonville, TN; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hornbuckle was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Goodman; a brother, William (Jake) Smith and an infant brother.
