William B. Wilkerson

William B. Wilkerson was born on January 18, 1935, the son of the late Barney and Callie Rose Wilkerson. On December 11, 1954, he was united in marriage to Della Inez Brown, who survives. William departed this life on September 26, 2017, at the age of 82 years, 8 months, and 8 days.

William was of the Pentecostal belief. Before working as a self-employed mechanic, he worked at Elvin William's for 16 years. William enjoyed working on cars.

Along with his wife, William is survived by his sons, Paul Hollins and wife Linda of Savannah, Tennessee, Allen Wilkerson and wife Jennifer of Savannah, Tennessee, and Rex Wilkerson and wife Beverly of Adamsville, Tennessee; a daughter, Reba Love and husband Tommy of Savannah, Tennessee; a sister, Louise Reed of Columbia, Illinois; grandchildren, Brent Hollins, Tracy Hollins, Brian Wilkerson, Keith Wilkerson, Summer Meyers, and Tammy Peeler; and 11 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his brothers, Brown Wilkerson, Bud Wilkerson, and John Wilkerson, and his sister, Mazie Hunt.
