William Rose Stricklin

WILLIAM ROSE STRICKLINwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 14, 1944 the son of the late Roosevelt and Lina Shelby Stricklin.On October 27, 1967 he was united in marriage to Linda Oakley, who survives. Mr. Stricklin retired from Brownshoe Company after 22 years. He was a member of Mountain View Church of Christ in Savannah. Mr. Stricklin loved doing yardwork and fixing lawn mowers.He departed this life on March 11, 2012 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 67 years, 6 months and 26 days.In addition to his wife Linda of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by one son, Wade Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee3 grandchildren, Cayla Stricklin Ray, Colby Stricklin and Lindsay Stricklin2 great grandchildren, Dalton Ray and Hallie Wilbanks2 sisters, Mattie Gammill and Lilly Wesson, both of Savannah, Tennesseeone brother, Herby Stricklin of Savannah, TennesseeIn addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, James Hardin.
