Willie Lee Goodrum

Willie Lee Goodrum was born March 4, 1936 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Homer and Rosa Bryant Nixon.

She was united in marriage to William Arnold Goodrum on March 14, 1950. Mr. Goodrum preceded her in death on August 16, 2010.

Mrs. Goodrum worked at Brown Shoe Company before moving to Memphis in 1966, she then worked as a waitress for several years. She was a member of the Church of God. She loved gardening, cooking, dancing, and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Goodrum departed this life on February 10, 2015 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 11 Months, 6 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Alina Kay Kaiser of Bartlett, TN; three sons, Rodger Dale Goodrum and wife Sue of Memphis, TN, Jeffrey David Goodrum and wife Diane of Water Valley, MS, William Nathan Goodrum of Selmer, TN; two sisters, Lula Ann Beyer and husband Toby, Faye Smith; two brothers, Ruble Nixon, Larry Nixon; seven grandchildren, William Kaiser, Denetta Craig, Casey Goodrum, Daniel Goodrum, Rodger Goodrum Jr., David Tidwell, Amber Rose Goodrum; 13 Great Grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Goodrum was preceded in death by a grandson, Jonathan Goodrum; a sister, Lessie Kiser; a brother, Julius Nixon.
