Wilma Lee Huffstutler departed this life on December 25, 2014 at the Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 96 years, 11 months, and 27 days. She was born on December 28, 1917 in Formosa, Arkansas, daughter to the late Ralph and Cora Epperson Brittingham. She was united in marriage to Clarence Huffstutler on May 23, 1936 who preceded her in death on January 8, 1994.
Mrs. Huffstutler was a housewife and homemaker. She lived in Frankfort, Illinois for 20 years and Hardin County for 34 years. She was a member of the New Life United Pentecostal Church in Savannah, Tennessee. Wilma's interests included flower gardening, reading, and working puzzles. She was very active in her church and was known to be a prayer warrior for others.
Wilma is survived by her children, Dorotha Harmon and her husband, Ervin, of Frankfort, Illinois and Doris Roberts and her husband, Robert, of Savannah, Tennessee; her siblings, Louise McFarlin and her husband, Edward, of Pickett, Arkansas and Ray Brittingham of Granada Hills, California; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her children, Helen Vaughn and infant Bonnie Lou Huffstutler; and siblings, Laudus Brittingham, R. C. Brittingham, and Ruth Drope.
