Wilma Imogene Steiner

Wilma Imogene Thomas Steiner of Waynesboro, TN was born May 15, 1934 in Hopkinsville, KY, the daughter of the late John James and Penelpoe Ann Barnes Thomas. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Ray Steiner on December 31, 1954. Mrs. Steiner was a childcare worker at Waynesboro Middle School, a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Collinwood, Tennessee, a member of TOPS in Waynesboro, TN, and a member of Foster Grandparents of Wayne County.

Mrs. Steiner departed this life on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 9 Months, 17 Days.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Ray Steiner; sons, Thomas Ray Steiner and wife, Wanda and Charles Jonathan Steiner and wife, Mitzi; and daughter, Shirley Ann Steiner all of Waynesboro, TN; a brother, Lewis Thomas of Lebanon, TN; a sister, Ruth Hall of Elkton, KY.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Steiner was preceded in death by brothers, Oscar, Joseph, and James Thomas.

Services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with David Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Grace Baptist Church, Collinwood, TN and Friday, March 7, 2014 from 8 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, TN.
