ZELDA FAYE ROLAND DYE
Henderson, TN: Zelda Faye Roland Dye age 69 passed away March 4, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born and reared in Chester County, the Laurel Hill Community, the daughter of the late Everett W. and Nora M. Thomas Roland. She attended Phillips School and Chester County High School and married Wendell Dye in 1975. They continued to make their home in the Laurel Hill Community. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Mrs. Dye is survived by her husband, Wendell Austin Dye of Henderson; a daughter, Crystal Faye Brewer and husband John of Henderson; a son, Darrel Roland and wife Katrina of Gleason; a stepdaughter, Lee Bastoe of West Monroe, LA; eight grandchildren, Danielle Faye and Carlie Jo Brewer, Jon Roland, Jon Riley, Wilson Ross and Colby Ross, Michael Dye and Christy Bastoe and one great grandchild and a sister, Sue Ellen Moore of Washington, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a stepson, David Dye in 1983; two brothers, Casey Roland and an infant brother and a sister, Ruth Helen Moore.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Geary officiating and burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday.
