Joe Frank Phillips

was born in Crump, Tennessee on December 18, 2009 the son of the late Hershel Perkins and Hassie Shelton Phillips.

On July 28, 1984 he was united in marriage to Donella Stanford, who survives.

Mr. Phillips had worked at Garan Manufacturing for 36 years, he was a Shipping Supervisor. He lived in Crump all of his life and was a member of the Crump United Methodist Church. He enjoyed animals and the flea market. Mr. Phillips was an avid builder of different things using wood. He was a great husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Phillips departed this life on Friday, December 18, 2009 at the age of 82 years, 9 days.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Phillips is survived by 4 daughters, Lisa Roland Phillips and Angie Chenault both of Adamsville, Tennessee, Kristie Foust of Selmer, Tennessee, Amy Morton of Savannah, Tennessee; 6 grandchildren, Prett Roland, Matt Chenault, Melanie Chenault, Tyler Morton, Emily Morton, and Zach Foust; 3 great-grandchildren, Kyle Roland, Kara Roland, and McKenna Bryant; special nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Randy Joe Phillips; a brother, John Neal Phillips; 4 sisters, Atalee Snodgrass, Geraldine Lester, Bobbie Hutchinson, and Marie Hewitt; a grandson, Barry Keith Roland; a special niece, Carolyn Hewitt.
