CAROLYN FAYE MURPHY

was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 18, 1956 the daughter of the late Thomas Edmond and Emma Lois Hickerson Melson.

On October 11, 1984 she was united in marriage to Lonnie Lee Murphy, who survives.

Mrs. Murphy was a homemaker. She attended Trinity Full Gospel Church in Morris Chapel, Tennessee.

Mrs. Murphy departed this life on November 6, 2010 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 53 years, 11 months and 19 days.

In addition to her husband, Lonnie of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by her children, Dale Wright, Shannon Norris, Shonda Polk, Robin Butler and Lonnie Murphy, II, all of Savannah, Tennessee

15 grandchildren, Steven, Dustin, Justin, Brianna, Whitney, Leslie, Logan Wright, Colton Carter, Haley Wright, Bethany, Ireland Polk, Marty, Mason, Miles Butler and Jacqueline Faye Murphy.

1 great grandchild, Emma Grace Wright

3 brothers, Dennis Melson of Ripley, Mississippi, Ricky Melson of Savannah, Tennessee and Donnie Melson of Shiloh, Tennessee

3 sisters, Cathy Oliver, Elizabeth Kiddy and Wanda Grimes, all of Savannah, Tennessee

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Connie Melson Mills.
