Raymond Leroy Morris of Waynesboro, TN was born January 2, 1924 in Hersey, PA, the son of the late Everett and Florence Speakman Morris. He was united in marriage to Margaret Clara Hermann on April 6, 1946 and she preceded him in death on April 15, 2001.

Mr. Morris was a retired truck driver, of the Methodist faith, and a member of the Masonic Lodge and Teamster's Union. He served in the United States Army during WW II. He moved to Waynesboro, TN from Pompano Beach, FL in 1986.

Mr. Morris departed this life on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 6 Months, 8 Days.

He is survived by daughters, Bonnie Morris Rodriquez and husband, Edward of Waynesboro, TN and Barbara Ann Morris Bauer of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a grandchild, Kenny Rodriquez.

Services will be Friday, July 13, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bobbie Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, directing.
