Carlie Hammer

Carlie Michelle Wilson Hammer, age 34, of Jackson, died Thursday afternoon at her home.

She was born and reared in Memphis, TN, the daughter of Charles Ray and Janelle May Crockett Wilson. She attended schools at Olive Branch, MS. She had worked at several Kroger Grocery Stores for more than sixteen years as a front line supervisor. She loved her family and loved watching good movies. She married Christopher Hammer in 2007. She had made her home in Fort Campbell, KY and then in Jackson.

She is survived by her husband Christopher Glenn Hammer and parents Charles Ray and Janelle Crockett Wilson, and two sons Jack Daniel Hammer and Christian Yarbrough all of Jackson and a daughter Lauren Morris of Olive Branch, MS. She also has two brothers Scott Wilson of Las Vegas and Tony Wilson of Medina.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday at the Meridian Baptist Church with Dr. Ronnie Wilburn officiating and burial will follow at Crockett-Meadow Cemetery at Hurricane Mills, TN.

The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday and Monday from 10:00 AM until funeral time at the church.
