David R. Coy
 

David R. Coy, II is proud to serve as the new counselor for the SUNRISE Grief Recovery Program.  He earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Biblical Studies from Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama and his Masters in Counseling Degree from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee.  He holds more than twenty years of experience in providing ministerial and counseling services to people of all ages.  David has assisted people in recognizing their life challenges and in developing a plan for working through them as well as providing families with assistance in facing the death of a loved one and overcoming the grieving process that follows.  He has provided crisis counseling services to individuals, groups, and schools.  The priority of his work continues to be offering consolation and assistance to individuals in their time of need.

David's wife, Lisa, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas and a Masters Degree in Education, with an emphasis in Special Education from Freed-Hardeman University.  She teaches Special Education at Lexington High School in Lexington, Tennessee.  David and Lisa have two sons, Timothy and Jonathan.  The Coy family resides in Chester County, Tennessee.
