  • October SUNRISE Group Meetings
    Wednesday, October 01, 2014 : 11:00 AM to Friday, October 31, 2014 : 8:00 PM

    The SUNRISE Aftercare group meetings have been scheduled for the month of October and are as follows:

    Bolivar - Monday, October 6th at 7:00 p.m. in the second floor lounge of CB&S Bank,
    Selmer - Thursday, October 9th at 7:00 p.m. in the private dining room at Lynnfield Place Assisted Living facility,
    Savannah - this meeting has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict,
    Henderson - Thursday, October 23rd at 7:00 p.m. in the rear dining room of the Southern Oaks Assisted Living facility,
    Waynesboro - Tuesday, October 28th at 7:00 p.m. in the conference room of the TVEC building in Waynesboro.

    These meetings are open to anyone wishing to attend. For more information, please contact your local Shackelford office.

  • Hardin County Veteran's Day Parade
    Thursday, October 16, 2014 : 8:00 AM to Saturday, November 08, 2014 : 12:00 PM

    Hardin County will host a Veteran's Day Parade on Saturday, November 8. The parade, which will stretch from City Hall on Main Street to the Courhouse, begins at 10:00 a.m. Afterwards, a special ceremony will be held on Courtsquare to honor our veterans. If you would like to join the parade, registration forms are available at City Hall or you may call (731) 925-3300 for more information. Registration forms must be submitted by Friday, October 31.

  • Tennessee Valley Teen Challenge Banquet
    Thursday, October 16, 2014 : 8:00 AM to Monday, October 27, 2014 : 9:00 PM

    Tennessee Valley Teen Challenge is hosting their annual banquet Monday, October 27, at the Hardin County Middle School. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the evening will feature incredible music, powerful testimonies, great food, and an appearance by award winning singer, songwriter, and Dove Award nominee, Joseph Habedank. A silent auction is being held prior to the evening's events. Tables for six are $150.00; for more information please call (731) 926-2555.

    Old Mainia - Chester Countians Rally to Preserve Historical Landmark

    Freed Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee

    Chester County residents rally together to preserve the Historic Landmark of the Old Main building on Freed-Hardeman’s Campus. Clothing vendors, food vendors, and activities will take place.

  • Chester County Chamber of Commerce 2nd annual Hee-Haw Hootenanny
    Thursday, November 13, 2014 to Saturday, November 15, 2014

    Henderson Hee Haw Hootenanny is November 13-15, 2014 at Williams Auditorium on the campus of Chester County Middle School. Show times are Thursday at 7:00, Friday at 7:00 and Saturday at 2:00 & 7:00. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students (ages 3 and under are free). Tickets are on sale now at the Henderson/Chester County Chamber of Commerce, Chester County Bank Main Branch and Clayton Bank and Trust Main Branch. Cash or Check only.
    Doors will open at 45 minutes before each show. There is no reserved seating.
