Ada Jeter departed this life on Thursday May 23, 2019 at the age of 95 years, 3 months, and 10 days.
Ada was born in Clifton, Tennessee on February 13, 1924, the daughter of the late John Thomas Jeter and Molly Jane Pevahouse Jeter. Ada was mostly a farmer her whole life, specializing in pigs and cattle, but had also worked for Clifton Manufacturing and the Clifton Sock Factory.
She loved raising cattle and loved her dogs. She also enjoyed spending time with children, especially her nieces and nephews.
Ada was a member of the Clifton Church of Christ.
She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: two half-sisters, Minnie Lineberry and Olar Williams; two half-brothers, Carl and Neal Jeter; four brothers, Robert, Paul, Jack, and Ed Jeter; a sister, Polly Jeter; and a twin sister, Ida Prater.
