Agness Louise McCullar

Agness Louise McCullar, 89, of Selmer, passed away Saturday morning, June 13, 2020 at McNairy County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Selmer.

A native of McNairy County, she was born Saturday, May 2, 1931, daughter of the late Henry and Ora Mae Russom Isbell and was a caregiver, sitting with the elderly. She lived for 17 years in the Heritage Center in Henderson and enjoyed traveling to Texas for visits with her family, but she considered Hardeman County home. Her family describes her as a 'sweetheart' and she loved gospel singings. Mrs. McCullar was a Baptist in faith, attending Hornsby Baptist Church years ago.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Sue Talley of Selmer; a sister, Ruby Mae Sisk (Danny) of Jackson; a brother, James Hanna (Marilyn) of Bolivar; 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Ellen Talley and a son, Jerry Glenn Talley.
