Alan Parmely was born December 9, 1974 in Jackson, TN the son of David H. Parmely and Linda Parmely Smith.
Alan was a 1993 graduate of McNairy Central High School, where he played basketball and baseball for the Bobcats. After graduation he attended U. T. Martin and worked as a stud welder for Thyssenkrupp in Middleton for 20 plus years. Alan was an avid sports enthusiast and also followed UFC and professional wrestling. Watching Marvel movies, Godzilla, and Game of Thrones with his family was a favorite pastime. He also enjoyed playing "Last Shelter: Survival" on his phone. Alan was an accomplished athlete; he enjoyed playing softball, golf, working out with his son Bradly, and fishing for bass. He was very competitive when it came to playing his favorite card game, Rook, which often led to spirited discussions between family members. FOX was his favorite news channel, and he was a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump. Alan formerly attended the Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church.
Alan departed this life on December 9, 2019 in Bolivar, Tennessee at the age of 45 Years. He is survived by two sons, Blake Alan Parmely and girlfriend Jessica Mae Scott, Bradly Shore Parmely and girlfriend Katy Marie Platek, all of Adamsville, TN; a daughter, Baylee Montanna Parmely of Selmer, TN; his father, David H. Parmely and wife Bonnie of Selmer, TN; his mother, Linda Smith of Ramer, TN; a brother, Scotty Dale Parmely of Selmer, TN; a sister, Krystle Starr Parmely of Selmer, TN; and many extended family and friends.
Alan was preceded in death by a sister, Candy Rena Parmely.
