Alice Mae Browder

Alice Mae Browder was born October 29, 1930 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Lessie T. and Amy Scott Dunaway.

She was united in marriage to Winfred O'Neil Browder on June 19, 1946. Mr. Browder preceded her in death on February 14, 2010.

Mrs. Browder was a machine operator for Levi Strauss Company. In her younger years, she was active in the Eastern Star. She was a wonderful cook and always made sure everyone had their favorite desserts. She loved her flower gardens, quilting, and watching Jeopardy. She was a devoted Christian lady and was a lifetime member of the New Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Selmer, Tennessee.

Mrs. Browder departed this life on March 13, 2019 in at the age of 88 Years, 4 Months, 13 Days. She is survived by a sister, Betty Franks of Savannah, TN; a brother, Troy Dunaway of Selmer, TN; five grandchildren, James Kevin Browder and wife Anna Marie of Corinth, MS, Amy Jo Crowe and husband Ricky of Selmer, TN, Scott David Browder of Selmer, TN, Thomas Paul Browder of North Port, WA, Alicia Marie (Browder) Smith of North Port, WA; eight great grandchildren, Dustin, Samantha and husband Michael, Tyler and fiance' Bri, Alex, Avalon, Amy, Adam, and Aiden; two great great grandchildren, Clayton and Baylor; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Browder was preceded in death by two sons, Roger David Browder, Winfred Michael Browder; four brothers, Wilburn, Ralph, Billy, and Charles Dunaway; three sisters, Mary Sue King, Katie Basinger, Jean Dunaway.
