Mrs. Alice Cecilia Waterbury from Middleton TN, was born December 7, 1920 and passed away on March 22, 2021. She impacted the world and her family with her heart of gold. Alice was always there to help her family. Her last words were that her children and grandchildren were her heart. She made friends far and wide. Everyone loved her. She had just celebrated her 100th birthday in December and she was so proud to have her family here with her. She had an amazing mind until her passing. She could remember anything, and her amazing personality always kept everyone smiling. She was a seamstress during her life and at one point worked at Frank Gray’s florist. She was well known in Middleton for making and selling her beautiful bows up until recently. She was called by many names; Mother, Mamaw Berry, Berry, Alice, Aunt Ceil, and Mrs. Waterbury.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Waterbury, four sisters and three brothers. She leaves behind two daughters, Theresa Lendermon, and Esther Wright (husband Stanley), Four grandchildren, Anne Jacobi, William Jacobi (wife Tanya), David Wright (wife Gina), Tanya Todd (husband Steve), four great-grandchildren Alicen Perrapato, Christi McCaslin, Kim Bumpus (husband Jeremy) and Graham Todd. She has 13 great great-grandchildren. She also leaves step granddaughters Dr. Laura Lendermon, and Lee Ann Brandon, and their sons Matthew, John Daniel, and Davis.
