Mr. Andrew James "Andy" Holland, age 50, of Toone, passed from this life on Tuesday evening, June 9, 2020 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
A resident of Hardeman County since age 7, he was born in Adrian, Michigan the son of Linda Kay Henderson Pierce, who survives and the late George David Holland. He married Penny Elder on Friday, March 15, 1999 and had worked at Owens-Corning prior to becoming disabled.
A loving husband and father, he bravely battled his cancer for three years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed being a shade-tree mechanic, fishing, playing pool and computer gaming. He had attended Cloverport Baptist Church, along with his wife, several times over the years.
In addition to his wife of 21 years, Penny Holland, he leaves four daughters, Kimberly, Kylie, Hannah and Amanda Holland, all of Toone; his mother, Linda Pierce of Jackson; four sisters, Tracey (James) Patterson of Jackson, Jodi (Richard) Lane of Palm Coast, FL, Debbie Anderson of Clemmons, NC and Barbara (James) Day of Scotts Hill, TN; four brothers, Jimmy (Christine) Holland of Lexington, NC, David Holland of Williamsburg, OH, Danny Holland of Loveland, OH and Mark Holland of Cincinnati, OH; half-sister, Tammy Perry of Covington, KY; two half-brothers, Kevin (Marka) Perry of Whitley City, KY and Steve (Ann) Hester of Medon; his mother-in-law, Mary Hopper of Medon; and sister-in-law, Amber Pickett of Medon.
Mr. Holland was also preceded in death by his father; sister, Tonya Holland and brother, Tommy Holland.
