Anita G. Pruett, 87, of Bolivar, passed away Monday evening at Covington Care Center in Covington, TN.
She was born in Memphis on Sunday, June 25, 1933, daughter of the late Cecil O. Graves, Sr., and Mildred Marion Goff Graves was retired from billing at St. Frances Hospital. She married William Robert "Bill" Pruett on Saturday, October 10, 1953 and they lived in Memphis prior to moving here in 1999. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2019. Her hobbies included reading, watching her game shows, shopping at Goldsmith's and playing bunko, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Pruett was a member of Bolivar Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Glenda Pruett Maxwell (Brian) of Olive Branch, MS and Ann McDaniel of Memphis; a son, John Pruett (Katie Dann) of Memphis; five grandchildren, Jennifer Minor (John) of Somerville, Katie Zinn (Alex) of Collierville, Nicholas Pruett Maxwell (Juliah) of Hattiesburg, MS, Kellie Lynn McCoy (Ricky) of Arlington and Jacob William Maxwell (Colby) of Southaven, MS; and two great grandchildren, Bradley Terrell Minor and Maverick Wayne McCoy. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, C.O. "Buster" Graves, Jr. and Dan Graves and a sister, Betty Harrison. Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to the Bolivar Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
The family requests anyone attending the services for Mrs. Pruett wear a mask or facial covering and observe social distancing guidelines.

* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
