Mrs. Ann Dorris, age 80 of Toone passed away Thursday afternoon, December 13, 2018 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN.
Born in Toone, she had lived in Memphis for approximately 30 years before moving to Manchester in 1991. The widow of Mr. Kenneth Dorris, who passed away in 1998, her parents were the late James Berdon Hampton and Nannie Mae Landers Hampton.
Mrs. Dorris worked as a homemaker and in her leisure time enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening and being outdoors.
She leaves her daughter, Tracey Denton (David) of McMinnville, TN; her son, Timothy Dorris of Manchester, TN; her brother, Benny Hampton (Frances) of Toone; two grandchildren, Tobyn and Gavin Dorris; two great-grandchildren, Addyson and Jorden Denton; and several nieces and nephews.
