Anne Dickerson, age 74 of Bolivar, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 in Bolivar.
Born Thursday, March 20, 1947, in Covington, TN, she was just shy of her 75th birthday. She was reared in Sardis, TN before living in Henderson and then Bolivar. She married Tommy Dickerson on November 2, 1973 who passed September 10, 2010. Mrs. Dickerson retired from food service at Freed-Hardeman University after 20 years of service. She was a member of New Beginnings Church in Finger, TN. A homemaker, she was a natural at arts and crafts. She loved to read, work crossword puzzles, was a fan of Elvis, westerns, Andy Griffith and especially loved her family and her grands.
Survivors include a daughter Angela Dickerson (Christopher Williams) of Lexington, TN; a son Jamie Dickerson and his wife Cynthia of Bolivar, TN; a sister Faye Millner of Scotts Hill, TN; a brother Elmer Cross; a sister-in-law Janet Cross of Crossville, TN; four grandchildren, Sarah, Christopher and Jacob Dickerson, Delana Johnson (Andrew Parks), and a great grandson, Khalil Parks. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents John Nathan and Jesse Lee Rushing Cross; a brother Joe Cross; a brother-in-law Neal Millner; and great-grandchildren Kolby and Kaleb Parks.
