April Denise Potete

April Denise Potete was born August 28, 1978 in Perry County, TN. She is the daughter of Mandy Wright Graves of Collinwood TN and the late Jerry Loyd Graves. She departed this life on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at her residence in Collinwood, TN at the age of 39 years, 10 months, and 29 days. She was employed by High Forest Health Group as a nurse and was a member of Cornerstone Church.

She is survived by her son, Gregory Tyler Potete and daughter, Kayla Michelle Potete, both of Collinwood, TN, and sister, Dawn Graves of Collinwood, TN; nieces and nephews, Daniel Graves of Collinwood, TN, Rachael Lard, Rebecca Daniel, and Blake Graves, all of Waynesboro, TN; and 8 great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her biological mother, Margaret Allen; sister, Brandi Neely of Lawrenceburg, TN, father, Wade Roberts of Leoma, TN, and three brothers, Brandon Roberts, Chris Roberts, both of West Point, TN; and Trevor Roberts of Columbia, TN; sister, Brandi Roberts Krajewski of West Point, TN; three nephews; one niece; and grandmother, Claire Roberts of Leoma, TN.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Rickey Lynn Graves, Randall Keith Graves, and sister Linda Joyce Graves.

Services will be Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Cornerstone Church in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Daniel Graves and Gary Hodum officiating. Burial will follow in McGlamery Cemetery at Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until service time at the church.

Pallbearers are Tony Wright, Allen Dixon, Tommy Lambeth, Brandon Hensley, Alan Hensley, and Zac Martin. Honorary pallbearers are Allen and Daniel Potete.
