Aquilla Idell Hanback Robbins

Aquilla Idell Hanback Robbins was born April 10, 1938 in Wayne County, TN, the daughter of the late William Howard and Sylvia Myrtle Bates Hanback. She was united in marriage to Frank Jasper (Junior) Robbins on July 2, 1955 and he preceded her in death on July 16, 1994.

Mrs. Robbins was a homemaker and a member of the Scotts Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Cypress Inn, Tennessee and departed this life on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at NHC Healthcare Scott in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 8 Months, 16 Days.

She is survived by a son, Stephen Ray Robbins and wife, Kathy of Northville, MI; a granddaughter, Stephanie Sears and husband, Ron of Lavonia, MI; a great-grandson, Ron (RJ) Sears; a sister, Ina Gilchrist of Lawrenceburg, TN; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Robbins was preceded in death by a brother, William Edsel Hanback and a sister, Quavil Arnell Bratton Robertson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with John E. Banks officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family. Pallbearers will be Rickey Bratton, Kenneth Thrasher, Jasper Rich, Earl Rich, Brent Smith and Mason Smith.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 6 pm to 8 pm and Friday, January 4, 2019 from 9 am to service time at the funeral home.
