Arah V. Rachel Presley, 90, of Bolivar, departed this life Sunday, May 26, 2019.
The widow of Rev. Earl Willis Presley, whom she married on August 14, 1943 and who preceded her in death on May 27, 2005, she was a homemaker and faithful minister's wife. She was born July 15, 1928 in Belmont, Mississippi, daughter of the late Braddie Chambers and Martha Altie Wood Chambers. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church International. She enjoyed crocheting, teaching Sunday School and horses.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Ann Mitchell (Gerald) of Nettleton, MS; a son, Danny Earl Presley of Huntsville, AL; grandsons, Gerald Anthony Mitchell (Vickie) of Nettleton,MS, Cameron Presley (Molly) of Colorado and Joshua Presley (Susan) of Huntsville, AL and six great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Winford, Wood and Billy Chambers; sisters, Lexie Stonecipher and Martha Alice Aston; a daughter in law, Marilyn Amber Presley and a grandson, Daran Presley.
