Mr. Arnold Hugh McClain was born May 11, 1937 in Waynesboro , TN to the union of the late Hugh L. and Lester Comer Morton McClain. Mr. McClain departed this life on February 26, 2019 at Southern Tennessee Regional Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Making his stay in this life 81 Years, 9 Months and 15 Days. Mr. McClain worked in Shipping and Receiving at Murray Ohio, he was a member of the Ray Chapel Baptist Church in Waynesboro, TN and he proudly served his Country in the United States Army.
He is survived by a sister, Clara Mathis of Waynesboro, TN; Many loving nieces and nephews, and a very special friend Donald Warren of Waynesboro, TN.
Mr. McClain was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Lester Morton McClain, his two brothers, Alton McClain and Vernon McClain; and his two sisters, Lottie Frazier and Montie Hall.
Funeral Services were held on Friday March 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Jerry Wayne Franks officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Gardens at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Military Honors.
Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County was in charge of the arrangements.
